LabelFlex® for Belden

Is LabelFlex® free?

LabelFlex® includes Lite (Free) for getting started. Advanced and Professional are paid upgrades for teams that need integrations, advanced imports, and higher-volume controls.

What is included with paid plans?

Paid plans include lifetime remote support and training and lifetime feature updates at no additional subscription cost.

Does LabelFlex® work for Belden products specifically?

LabelFlex® is designed around templates and workflows for Belden connectivity products, including patch panels, cross-connect, outlets, fiber, and cables. Cable labels can also be used for general cable identification beyond Belden, including on other connectivity brands.

Can I label non-Belden cable?

Yes. LabelFlex® is designed for Belden workflows and Belden applications, and the cable labels can also be used for general cable identification in mixed environments.

Do I need a special printer?

A laser printer is required. LabelFlex®-compatible labels are supplied on US Letter size sheets.

What size are the label sheets?

LabelFlex®-compatible labels are supplied on US Letter size sheets.

Do I need an Internet connection to print labels?

No. You can print labels offline. An Internet connection is required for downloading the software and receiving updates.

Can LabelFlex® be used offline?

Yes. LabelFlex® can be used offline, but an Internet connection is required for download and updates.

Can I import data from Excel?

Yes. You can copy and paste identifiers directly from spreadsheets into LabelFlex®. Advanced and Professional also support CSV import workflows.

Can LabelFlex® generate sequential cable IDs automatically?

Yes. LabelFlex® can generate sequential numbers and letters to speed up labeling and improve consistency.

Can I add prefixes and suffixes to sequences?

Yes. Advanced and Professional support prefixes and suffixes to help standardize naming conventions across Belden projects.

Can I change fonts and font sizes?

Yes. Advanced and Professional allow font and sizing controls so labels match your readability requirements.

Can I create multi-line labels?

Yes. Advanced and Professional support multi-line labels for longer identifiers or additional details.

Does LabelFlex® support barcodes and QR codes?

Yes. Professional supports barcodes and QR codes for workflows that require scanning and faster record matching.

Can I add graphics or logos to labels?

Yes. Professional supports importing graphics onto labels when needed for site standards or identification.

Can I share jobs with other users?

Yes. Professional includes locked job and sharing and export controls to help maintain consistency across teams.

Can I build multiple label types in one job?

Yes. Advanced and Professional support multiple builds in the same job to reduce setup time on larger Belden installs.

Do new Belden patch panels include printable patch panel labels?

Yes. New Belden patch panels include printable patch panel label options that can be printed using an ordinary office laser printer. LabelFlex® prints patch panel labels sized to match the specific Belden patch panel you have purchased.

You can purchase labels through your trusted Belden reseller or distributor. You can also request labels through your normal route of purchasing Belden products, whether that is Anixter, Graybar, Digi-Key, or another distributor.
